Anthony L. Johnson joined Greenwich Communities in January 2006 as CEO and Executive Director. In this position, Mr. Johnson has strived to create a goal-oriented organization providing outstanding housing opportunities throughout Greenwich. His professional experience in real estate includes managing and developing residential/affordable/commercial properties. As the CEO of Greenwich Communities, he has presided over the total remake of all properties, including developing new townhomes and rehabbing existing buildings utilizing tax credit and conventional financing, all while enhancing operational effectiveness and financial stability of the organization.
 
Prior to joining Greenwich Communities, Mr. Johnson held previous leadership roles including the Senior Asset Manager for the Chicago Housing Authority, Director of Development at Fortune Management, Executive Vice President of Sae Young Westmount/Homan Arthington Foundation, Principle at Phoenix Partners, Assistant Vice-President at O’Hare Airport for United Airlines, and Senior Auditor for IC Industries.
 
Mr. Johnson’s professional certifications include C-3P Tax Credit, Uniform Physical Property Condition, Project-Based Accounting, HUD Procurement, Executive Management of Public Housing, Executive Management of Section 8, Public Housing Management Specialist and Developing and Managing PBV Specialist.
 
Mr. Johnson has a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University in Chicago, an AMDP in design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and an MBA in Finance from Pace University Lubin School of Business.
