Greenwich Communities offers a variety of living options for older adults. The Town of Greenwich is the first municipality in Connecticut to be awarded certification as an Age Friendly Community by the World Health Organization and AARP. As an Age Friendly Community, Greenwich is accepting and respectful regardless of age, ethnicity, race, gender, or ability and provides people-centered services including social inclusion, civic participation, community support, health services, transportation and outdoor public spaces for enjoyment.
